Kennebec KOA

Camping Reservations

Description

Kennebec KOA is a great place to stay on your way to and from the Black Hills or Yellowstone. Let the kids burn off energy in the large pool and separate wading pool or amuse themselves in the playgrounds while adults relax in the hot tub. From mid-June through mid-August, your hosts cook breakfast and supper to order at the Chuckwagon next to the picnic shelter, where you can catch up on TV news or events. All RV sites are pull thrus; many have been upgraded to accommodate today's longer RVs offering 50-amp, cable TV (60 channels) and phone service. Many tent and RV sites have shade trees, and Kamping Kabins are air-conditioned. You can even stay in a tepee! Although primarily an overnight campground, the Kennebec KOA is a good base to explore the Lewis & Clark Trail along the Missouri River, the state capital of Pierre and the Golden Buffalo Casino.
