Description

Sheridan Lake Campground is situated in a Ponderosa Pine forest, adjacent to 380 acre Sheridan Lake.
The elevation of this campground is 4,600 feet, making the temperatures comfortable in the summer.
There is an amphitheater.

Non-reservable sites may be available on a first come-first served basis.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.

Campers may have a maximum of 2 vehicles per site.
Additional vehicles may be accommodated on some sites for an additional charge.

There are no electric sites in this campground. There will be a pet charge of $2 per pet per night, payable upon check in. *3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends (Memorial day, July the 4th and Labor Day)

Located in western South Dakota. Go 18 miles west of Rapid City on Sheridan Lake Road. Take Highway 385 south, 1 mile to Sheridan Lake Recreation Area.
