Description
Iron Creek Horse Camp is locate approximately 13 miles outside Custer, South Dakota. Popular attractions include Norbeck Scenic Byway and Custer State Park. Campground is adjacent to Iron Creek. Newly reconstructed in 1996. Facilities provided include corrals and restrooms.

Alerts and Important Information
Access roads are curvy and the sites cannot accomodate rigs over 50ft total length. For larger rigs, please use Willow Creek Horsecamp. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. There are no electric sites in this campground. Corrals can hold up to 4-5 horses. There is no potable water in this campground but there is water for horses. Certified weed free hay is required for all horses on The Black Hills National Forest. (call 605- 574-4402 for info on where to buy)

Take Highway 16A from Custer, South Dakota, approximately 8 miles east, to Highway 87. On Highway 87 go north, northwest for approximately 4 miles to FDR 345. Follow 345 to access road, approximately 1 mile north.
