Description

Lake Wateree is one of South Carolina''s premier fishing and boating destinations, and Lake Wateree State Recreation Area provides ideal access to the 21-mile long, 13,700-acre reservoir. The park''s wooded, lakeside campground has 72 sites, including many that can accommodate large RVs and all with water and electrical service. The park also offers a tackle shop with refueling dock.

Off Interstate 77, take exit 41, follow secondary 41 N. to stop sign at Hwy 21. Turn left and go approximately 2-3 miles to the first paved road on the right. Turn right on Road 101 (River Road) The park is 5.5 miles on the left.
