Historic home of South Carolina's secession governor, William Henry Gist. The site offers a historic home tour, patterned boxwood gardens and many oportunities to learn about the prosperous Antebellum lifestyle of upcounry planter families and the role of cotton, slaves and tenant farmers in South Carolina's history.

Eight miles South of Union. From Hwy 176 (Duncan Bypass) turn right on Sardis Rd at the Citco gas station. Look for sign "Rose Hill 8 Miles." The park is on the left.
