Description

Fourteen of Lake Hartwell's 962 miles of shoreline are included within this park, a popular destination for boaters, fishermen and campers who enjoy easy access to the lake. With its location on S.C. 11 just off I-85, Lake Hartwell State Recreation Area also serves as a gateway to the Cherokee Foothills National Scenic Highway and South Carolina's mountain country.

No one under the age of 18 may register for a campsite. No more than two vehicles per site. Vehicles must remain on paved surfaces. Campers arriving after operational hours must contact park office for gate information. Quiet hours are from 10PM - 7AM. Alcoholic beverages prohibited. Pets are allowed but must remain leashed. Please contact the park to reserve ADA (Disabled Access) Standard and Full Service sites. Cabins 90 and 91 :No pets, open flames or smoking allowed inside the camper cabin."
