Description
This 763-acre day-use park is a popular get-away for area residents. The park lake, formally a mill pond that dates back to the Civil War days, features cypress trees, numerous species of birds and a variety of wildlife and plant life. This regional state park offers year-round boating, picnicking, community building and shelters.

NR Goodale is a day-use park. Hours of operation are 9AM - 6PM daily. Office hours are 11AM - 12PM daily. Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet.

The park is located five miles northeast of Camden, on Park Road. From I-20 take exit 98, travel 2.3 miles towards Camden and turn right on DeKalb St. Continue 3 miles and turn right onto Old Stagecoach Rd. Travel 2.4 miles before turning left onto Park Rd. The park is .2 miles on right.
