Description
Rivers Bridge State Historic Site is a 390-acre site located near the town of Ehrhardt. Rivers Bridge State Historic Site is the location of the Battle of Rivers Bridge. The battle was fought February 2-3, 1865, between Confederate forces and William Tecumseh Sherman's army. The site also has a Community Building, Memorial Ground and Picnic Shelter.

Rivers Bridge State Historic Site is open Thursday thru Monday closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m with office hours at 11:00 a.m. to noon.

Rivers Bridge State Historic Site is located 7 miles Southwest of Ehrhardt, SC, off SC Highway 641. Access can also be made off of SC Highway 64 via Kearse Road to Rivers Bridge Road and Highway 301/321 via Rivers Bridge Road.
