Located on the Kinzua Arm of the Allegheny Reservoir (Kinzua Dam Area) in McKean County. Vegetation is forested hills. Nearby campgrounds include: Kiasutha and Dewdrop. Nearby attractions include: Kinzua Dam, Kinzua Bridge and Kinzua/Knox Scenic Railroad. Campground is open from mid April to mid Dec. First come, first serve sites are available. Reservations are accepted Memorial Day through Labor Day.

From Kane, take State Highway 321 north for ten miles. From Warren, take State Highway 59 southeast, turn right onto Longhouse Scenic Drive to State Highway 321, turn left for twenty miles. 110 miles south of Buffalo, 170 miles north of Pittsburg, 200 miles east of Cleveland.
