This Mt Hood National Forest campground is on Timothy Lake at approximately 3400 feet of elevation. If no sites are available, try other Timothy Lake MOUNTAINS, WILDERNESS, OPEN SPACE Campgrounds: Oak Fork, Hoodview, or Pine Point. If they are full, try Clackamas Lake Campground located 3 miles away. FIREWOOD SOLD ON SITE, STAFF ON SITE

Maps and area information are also available on-site at the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station, located near-by on Rd 42.

From Sandy, Oregon, travel east on Highway 26 for approximately 40 miles to Skyline Road (Rd 42). Turn right on Skyline Road, travel south 9 miles. Turn right on FS Road 57, west 2 miles, turn right at the Gone Creek Campground entrance sign.
