HOOD, GOVERNMENT CAMP MOUNTAINS, WILDERNESS, OPEN SPACE FIREWOOD SOLD ON SITE, STAFF ON SITE FISHING, HIKING, BICYCLING, BIRD WATCHING PETS ON LEASH, QUIET HOURS 10PM-6AM, NO MOTOR BOATS ON LAKE Clackamas Lake is a quiet campground located in the Clackamas Lake Historic District on the Mt Hood National Forest. Clackamas Lake is suitable for wildlife viewing, fishing and non-motorized boating. It is about 3 miles away from Timothy Lake. Timothy Lake has opportunities for day use: boating, swimming, fishing. The Historic Clackamas Lake Ranger Station is located 1/2 mile away on Road 42, and has maps, guided tours and other area information.

Getting There:

Clackamas Lake (OR)
OR

From Sandy, Oregon, travel East on Highway 26 for approximately 40 miles to Skyline Road, Road 42. Turn right on Skyline Road (Road 42) and travel South for 10 miles to Clackamas Lake entrance sign. Turn left, travel East 1/4 mile to campground entrance.
