Description

Located forty-five miles northeast of Las Vegas, Nevada, in an open forested area leading up to a ridge at 8300 ft. elevation. Campground is located in the Spring Mountain National Recreation Area. Restrooms are provided. There is hiking and biking on the Bristlecone Trail. There are some sites on a first come, first serve (no reservation) basis. Campground may open as late as mid May due to snow.

From Las Vegas, Nevada, take Highway 95 north to the junction with Highway 156 (Lee Canyon), turn left and travel approximately 20 miles to the campground, which will be on the right.
