Description

Depending on weather conditions the campground may be open in early May and late September. No advance reservations are available outside the dates listed above. Located on the Bozeman Ranger District of the Gallatin National Forest 32 miles south of Bozeman, Montana, the site, at 5,700 feet elevation and adjacent to Moose Creek and U.S. Highway 191, is available for group picnicking or camping. Partly surrounded by pine and fir trees is also adjacent to a small meadow.

Located 32 miles south of Bozeman, Montana. From Bozeman take U.S. Highway 191 south for 32 miles to the turnoff 1/4 mile south of the main Moose Creek Flat campground. Turn left onto gravel road that leads 200 yards to the group site. From West Yellowstone, take MT Hwy 191 north 57 miles (7 miles north of the Big Sky turnoff). The group area is on the east side of the highway across from the campground.
