Description

Depending on weather conditions, the campground may be open in early May and late September. No advance reservations are available outside the dates listed above. The campground is located on the Bozeman Ranger District of the Gallatin National Forest 17 miles south of Bozeman, Montana. It is adjacent to the Hyalite Reservoir at an elevation of 6700 feet. Some campsites are in open meadows along the reservoir; other sites are among scattered pine and fir trees. Roads and campsites spurs in the campground are gravel. Boat ramp and group picnic areas are in the campground.

Located 17 miles south of Bozeman, Montana. From Main Street take South 19th 7 miles to Hyalite Canyon Road (paved). Turn left and go south 10 miles to the campground.
