Description
Thibaut Point Park is located at Harry S. Truman Lake. The park is forested with rocky hills and rock bluffs extending into the lake. The Thibaut Point area is an excellent fishing location. In addition to the campsites, three group camps and two day-use group shelters may be reserved. Popular activities include fishing, hunting, swimming, and boating. There are whitetail deer and turkey and other animals and birds that live in and around the Thibaut Point area including raccoons, skunks, squirrels, turkey vultures, hummingbirds, hawks, ospreys. During the winter months, bald eagles can be seen.
