Description

The Shawnee Bend Park is located at Harry S. Truman Lake. The area is forested with rocky hills and rock bluffs extending into the lake. The park is a day use area only and two shelters are available for reservations. Some of the activities in the park area are fishing, picnicking, swimming, and boating. In Benton County, go 3 miles northwest of Warsaw, MO. From Highway 7 travel north on the Dam Access Road for 3 miles. From Highway 65, travel across the dam. Follow signs into the park.
