Description
On the eastern edge of Kansas' Flinthills Region, Outlet Park is on Melvern Lake. It draws outdoor enthusiasts from a wide range off disciplines. Melvern Lake covers approximately 7,000 acres of water and 18,000 acres of land open for public use. Outlet Park offers 150 camp sites (61 with electric and water hook-ups and 89 with electric, water, and sewer hook-ups), a reservable group picnic shelter, a boat ramp, and numerous individual picnic sites. Other amenities include three shower buildings, sanitary dump station, pay phone, swimming beach with change house and showers, a stocked fishing pond, vault toilets and waterborne restrooms, a ballfield, a handicapped accessible fishing dock, an amphitheater, three miles of nature trails, a courtesy dock with fish cleaning station, and a playground,Pavilion with men's and women's restrooms, serving table and grill.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends.
Campsites are restricted to one wheeled camping unit and one tent or two tents.
The park is open year round. Facilities are available April 1 to October 31 and a park attendant is on duty.
The Outlet Park Fishing Pond will be open for fishing all year round.
Special creel and length limits are enforced on the Outlet Park Fishing Pond.
