Description
This park underwent site re-numbering prior to the 2006 camping season. If person making reservation has not visited the Hickory/Walnut campground since 2005, please view the site maps above to ensure that you are reserving the correct site.
One of two campgrounds in our Bloomington Park. Hickory Campground provides over 220 campsites; 94 of which have electrical (30 amp) hookups. This campground also contains 16 shoreline sites, (within approx. 300 ft.), allowing campers with boats to beach their boat relatively close to their campsite.
Amenities in this park include four handicapped accessible comfort stations and an accessible shower building, A concrete hiking/biking path leads from this campground to the Bloomington beach. An accessible playground is located near the shower building.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
- Pets must remain on a 6-foot leash.
- Fees for this campground are $10.00 - $16.00 per site per night.
- Campers are allowed 2 vehicles per site, in addition to an RV parked on the camp pad.
- Vehicles must not park on the grass.
- Campers are allowed 2 camping units per site; either 2 tents OR 1 ten and 1 RV.
- Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

From Lawrence, take 6th Street west (Hwy 40) for 4 miles. Take a left onto County Road 442 and go 5 miles to Stull. Make a left turn onto County Road 1023. Go about 6 miles to County Road 6, make a left turn, and go 4 miles through the town of Clinton. The park is located next to the town of Clinton.
