Description

Located 10 miles north of Banks, Idaho, this campground sits alongside the North Fork Payette River, popular for fishing and white water boating. It is also close to the highway. The area is covered with conifers and surrounded by mountains. Elevation is 4,000 feet. Summer days are warm, in the 80 to 90 degree range, nights are cool. The annual Payette River White Water Roundup is held each summer in the area. Some first come, first serve sites are available. Campground is near the highway and the river.

Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance. A $5.00/day fee for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. No refunds are given for bad weather. This campground has first-come, first-served sites.
