Description

Mink Creek Group Site Campground is located just 12 miles south of Pocatello, Idaho. It is a group site campground located just off Bannock highway. Is this the campground you are requesting? The road to the campground is paved. The campground has some ponderosa pine trees, which offer some shade.

Check-In Time is 2:00 pm and Check-Out Time is 12:00 noon. Call 208.236.7500 for the access code, between the hours of 7:45 am and 4:30 pm Monday -Friday; office not open on weekends or federal holidays *4 day reservation window* There is no electricity, water or sewer hookups at this campground. The pavillion out at the site offers electricity. ATV's or ORV's are allowed on designated trails only. No ATV riding in the campground. Vehicles and RV's must park in developed parking lot only.

Group site fees are as follows:

  • 1-50 persons = $ 50.00 per day
  • 51-75 persons = $ 75.00 per day
  • 76-100 persons = $ 95.00 per day
  • 101-125 persons = $ 120.00 per day
  • 126-150 persons = $ 140.00 per day
  • 151-175 persons = $ 165.00 per day
  • 176-200 persons = $ 190.00 per day

    • Security is provided by a locked gate, hosts and periodic patrols by county sheriff.

    There are drinking fountains and a vault toilet in the campground.

    No horses in the campground.

    All pets must be on a leash.

    All equipment and vehicles must stay in designated parking area.


    There is a new 40 foot X 80 foot covered pavilion, with concrete floor and 22 tables, 2 serving tables, large fire pit, and two new toilets. All facilities are ADA accessible.

    Take exit 63 off I-15, south of Pocatello. Follow the white on brown "Mink Creek Recreation Area" signs to Bannock Highway (Two miles), turn south (left) up Mink Creek Canyon. Go 7 miles south on Bannock highway (past Bannock Guard Station) to Mink Creek Group Site Campground. The road is paved all the way and easy access for motor homes.
