Malad Summit Campground is located just 14 miles north of Malad, Idaho on Malad Pass off I-15. Is this the campground you are requesting? Do not confuse this campground with Summit View Campground. Security is provided by hosts and periodic patrols by county sheriff.

Alerts and Important Information
For all Sites Check-In Time is at 2:00 PM and Check-Out Time is at 12:00 noon. The district office is open Mon-Fri 7:45am to 4:30pm, closed on Federal Holidays. 4 day reservation window. There is no electricity, water, sewer site hook-ups at this campground. A fee of $5.00 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. ATV's or ORV's are allowed on designated trails only. No riding in campground. There is drinking fountains and vaulted toilet close by. All pets must be on a leash. All equipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in designated areas only. Single family units are $10.00, two family units are $20.00 per night. No horses allowed.

Take exit 22 (Devil Creek Reservoir) off I-15, 11 miles north of Malad, Idaho. Go north on old highway 191 3.2 miles (paved road), turn west and cross over the interstate on Forest Service road #041 and go 3.1 miles (good graveled road) to Malad Summit Campground. Turn left into campground. Motor homes can make it OK.
