Description
Located four miles north of the town of Pine, Idaho, in a ponderosa pine forest. Situated along the banks of Dog Creek, within 1/8 mile of the South Fork Boise River. Sites are shaded and quiet and well away from the road. Deer and humming birds are often sighted. There is a motorized trail 1/4 mile to the north. Fishing is allowed in South Fork Boise River. Facilities provided include tent pads, fire grills, tables, garbage pick-up (dumpster), and drinking water. The water system is pressurized and there are three water faucets located throughout the campground. Some first come, first serve sites may be available.

From Boise, Idaho, take I-84 to Mountain Home. At the junction take Highway 20 east for 35 miles, to Pine/Featherville exit (Forest Highway 61). Travel north on Forest Highway 61 for 23 miles to Dog Creek Campground. Improved paved road to campground junctions.
