Description
Paynes Creek Campground is located on the Tugaloo River arm of Hartwell Lake. The campground offers 44 campsites, 37 of the 44 are waterfront. All of the sites offer 50 amp electrical hookups and water. The following amenities are also available: dump station, play grounds, swim beach.

Alerts and Important Information
Gates open at 7am and close at 10pm.
Golf Carts, ATV's, and motorized scooters are prohibited. All pets must be penned, caged, or on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
*Same day reservations are allowed*
Alcohol is prohibited.
The campground gate opens at 7:00 am and closes at 10:00 pm.
There is a limit of 1 wheeled camper per site.
Tents are limited to the impact pad capacity.
Campers must occupy the site each night it is rented.

From Interstate 85, take GA exit #177, proceed on GA Hwy 77 south for 5 miles. Follow directional signs last 10 miles to campground.
From Hartwell, GA, take Hwy 51 north until you reach a 4-way stop, turn left and follow directional signs to park.
