Description

Old Federal Campground is located on Lake Sidney Lanier. Lake Lanier touches five counties in Georgia and is just 45 minutes from Atlanta. The lake covers 38,000 acres that were once rolling farmland. The lake provides outdoor recreational opportunities to fish, camp, boat, picnic or sightsee. Old Federal Campground offers 59 sites with electric and water hookups and 24 sites without hookups. Additional amenities include hot showers, laundry facilities, a boat ramp,a dump station, and a swimming area.

Reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance.
RESERVATIONS HAVE A 1 NIGHT MINIMUM ON WEEKENDS AND 3 NIGHT MINIMUM ON HOLIDAY WEEKENDS
The campground is open March - November and sites range from $19 - $25 dollars .
Primary occupants must occupy campsites overnight. Renting a site for the purpose of day use or parking is prohibited.
8 person maximum per site including visitors.
1-3 vehicles per site with 3 vehicles maximum within campground including visitors.
Attendants are scheduled 7:00am-10:30pm and the campground telephone number is (770) 967-6757.
Check-in time is 4pm and checkout time is 3pm. Park gates are locked from 10:30pm until 7am.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited at all corps parks on Lake Lanier.

Take I-85 north to I-985, take Exit 8, turn left on Hwy 347/Friendship Rd., turn right on McEver Rd., turn left on Jim Crow Rd. and follow signs to the campground.
