Description
Old Hwy 41 #3 Campground is located on Allatoona Lake in Georgia. Located only 30 miles from Atlanta, the lake offers a respite from the rush of city living. More than 13 million visitors each year enjoy picnicking, camping, hunting, fishing, swimming and other water sports, and observing the abundant wildlife along the shores of this beautiful lake. Old Hwy 41 #3 Campground offers 44 campsites, all with electrical and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, coin laundry, hot showers, boat ramp and an attendant on duty.

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
2 night minimum on weekends.
3 night minimum on holidays.

The campground will open on May 8, 2009 at 7 a.m. and will close on September 8, 2009 at 3 p.m. Campsite fees are $20 - $52. The last night to make a reservation is September 7, 2009. The gate is locked at 10:30pm to 7am.
No ATV's or ORV's allowed. Attendents are on duty.
This campground has first come, first serve sites. Campgrounds DO NOT make advance reservations for these sites. You may go to the campground or contact the Allatoona Lake Project Management Office at 678-721-6700 to check availability of first come, first served sites.

I-75 to exit 278(Glade Road) go west .07 miles to stop light. Take right onto GA Highway 92/Lake Acworth Drive, proceed for .08 miles crossing overpass, take right after crossing overpass, go to bottom of overpass, turn left and go approximately 2.5 miles, entrance to campground is on right. Signs are at each turn location.
