Description

McKaskey Creek Campground is located on Allatoona Lake in Georgia. Located only 30 miles from Atlanta, the lake offers a respite from the rush of city living. More than 13 million visitors each year enjoy picnicking, camping, hunting, fishing, swimming and other water sports, and observing the abundant wildlife along the shores of this beautiful lake. The McKaskey Creek Campground offers 51 sites, 32 with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, laundry facilities, hot showers, boat ramp, playground, and a swimming beach.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
2 night minimum on weekends.
3 night minimum on holidays.
The campground will open at 7 a.m. on March 27, 2009 and will close at 3 p.m. on September 8, 2009 and campsites are $16-$24 per night.
Attendents are on duty.
The gate is locked at 10:30pm to 7am.
No ATV's or ORV's allowed.

This campground has first come, first serve sites. Campgrounds DO NOT make advance reservations for these sites.You may go to the campground or contact the Allatoona Lake Project Management Office at 678- 721-6700 to check availability of first come, first served sites.

From I-75, take Exit 290, go East on GA 20 to GA Spur 20, take right onto GA Spur 20 for 2 miles, turn left onto McKaskey Creek Road and follow 1 mile into campground.
