Description
The tropical vegetation and atmosphere provides an excellent location to camp, fish, boat, or enjoy hours of quiet contemplation. The St. Lucie South Campground offers 9 RV/tent sites and 8 Cruiser sites with electric and water hook ups. There are also 3 tent sites with no hook-ups. Additional amenities include a dump station, hot showers, public phones, a playground, a boat ramp, and a shelter. While enjoying nature's beauty, visitors may view boats and manatees locking through the St. Lucie Lock as they travel the Okeechobee Waterway or enjoy a picnic lunch in the adjacent day use area. A nature trail is also located on the north side of the St. Lucie Lock.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. The campground is open year round. Gates open at 6:00 am and close at Sunset. Park attendants are on duty and the campground telephone number is 772-287- 1382.
- Cruiser sites are ONLY for boats that accommodate sleeping; There is NO area for TENTS or RV's at these sites.
- No vehicles or trailers allowed on tent sites.
- Pets must be leashed.
- This campground has first-come, first-served sites.

From I-95, take Exit 101 (Stuart/Indiantown), following SR 76 W for 0.5 miles to Locks Road. Turn right onto Locks Road and follow signs into the campground.
