Description

Horseshoe Campground is primitive camping; there are no hook-ups. The campground has vault toilets and a water well. 14'ers that are located nearby are Mt. Sherman, Lincoln, Bross, and Democrat. Jefferson Lake Recreation Area is 20 miles north on Hwy 285.

Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. There are no hook-up at the campground. No refunds for bad weather. There is no public phone at this campground. Site 1 is nonreservable. Patrons can contact: South Park Ranger District at 719-836-2031 during regular business hours.
