Description
Located approximately thirty miles north of the town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Campground is adjacent to a small lake stocked with rainbow and brook trout. Situated in a spruce and fir forest area. There are 26 camping sites available. No vehicles can be left overnight at the boat dock.

Alerts and Important Information
Hahns Peak Lake campground and Boat Ramp Day Use will be CLOSED for the 2009 summer due to improvements and construction being done in the campground. For updates call the Forest Service Office at 970-870-2299.

From Steamboat Springs, go 1.2 miles west of town on US Highway 40 to Route County Road 129 north for 28 miles. Take Forest Road 486 west for 2 miles to the campground.
