Description
Located in north central Colorado, southwest of Grand Lake. Campground is adjacent to Shadow Mountain Reservoir. Loop B is closest to Colorado River. Facilities provided include restrooms and a boat ramp. National Fishing Week, the first week in June, is a popular activity.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends, 3 night minimum on holidays. There are no electricity/water/sewer site hook-ups at this campground. Tents on tent pads only. Frequent afternoon thunder showers. Campers must have ARNA pass before camping. Availabe at vendings machines & Forest Service. All equipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in developed area only. Water spigots are at central locations throughout campground. This campground is within a National Recreation Area, which has an entry fee in addition to the camping fees you are paying now. Passes can be purchased on site and are one day ($5), three day ($10), week ($15) or annual ($30). For more information call (970) 887-4100. Golden Eagle, Age, and Access passports are valid for admission. 14 day stay limit within 60 day period.
Very large numbers of trees have been removed from this campground for safety reasons. All sites should now be considered sunny to partly sunny.
Due to the pine beetle infestation and removal of hazard trees, there is little or no shade in the campground.
