Description
There are mountains and Florida River nearby. Site is located 2.5 miles from Lemon Reservoir. A store and telephone are 7.5 miles away. Popular activities include hiking, hunting, stream fishing, bicycling and the Colorado Free Fishing Days.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. There are no fire bans at this time but it is recommended that you call the Forest prior to your arrival for updated fire information. There is only enough parking for 25 vehicles. Please adjust capacity if you are bringing RVs. Additional fees for additional people will be collected at the campground.

Florida Campground is in southwestern Colorado. From Bayfield, go north off US Highway 160 on to County Road 501. Go 10 miles, turn left onto County Road 240, go 3 miles. Turn right on County Road 243, then go 7 miles to Florida Campground.
