Description

Located 48 miles northwest of Fort Collins, Colorado. Campground is situated adjacent to Dowdy Lake in a mountainous, ponderosa pine forest, at an elevation of 8,200 feet. Facilities provided include restrooms and a boat ramp. Four wheel drive roads are within 5 miles of the campground.

This campground requires a 2 night minimum on weekends.

No extra parking available. Wakeless speed on lake.

From Interstate I-25 EXIT I-25 TO Highway C0-14 heading west towards the town of FORT COLLINS Start out going west on CO-14 W / E Mulberry St. toward SW FRONTAGE Rd. Turn slight right onto Riverside Ave. Riverside Ave. becomes Jefferson St. Turn right onto N College Ave. / US-287 N / CO-14 W. Continue to follow US-287 N / C0-14 W. Turn slight right Stay straight to go onto US-287 / C0-14/ LA PORTE BYP. Continue to follow US-287 N. Turn slight left onto Redfeather Lakes Rd. / CR-74E / Jackass Rd. Continue to follow Redfeather lakes Rd. / CR-74E for 22.4 miles. Turn right onto Dowdy Lake Rd. Continue to follow Dowdy lake rd., turn right onto Dowdy Drive.
