Description
Located just off the "Peak to Peak" Scenic Byway, approximately 24 miles south of Estes Park, Colorado, and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Campground is adjacent to the Middle Saint Vrain River and 1/4 mile from the Peaceful Valley Campground. Campground is generally flat in a mixed conifer and aspen forest. Restroom facilities are provided. Popular activities include fishing, hiking, horseback riding and bicycling on the scenic highway and forest trails. Stables are 3/4 mile east at the Peaceful Valley Lodge. Nearest showers are 12 miles north at the Meeker Park Lodge. Full services are available in the picturesque town of Estes Park. The Indian Peaks Wilderness is 4 miles from the west end of the campground.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. Maximum 2 vehicles per site.

From Denver, take I-25 north to US-36 west through Boulder to Lyons. From Lyons, take Colorado Highway 7 for 12 miles to Colorado 72, then south for 4 miles.
