Seacliff State Beach is known for its fishing pier and concrete freighter, the Palo Alto. The beach is also a popular swimming spot. There is a long stretch of sand backed by bluffs. There is a covered picnic facility. The park also has an interpretive center.

Seacliff is now site specific for reservations. You will select your site at the time your reservation is made.
Lot B "Overflow sites" B6-B15 are now on Reservations.
NO TENT CAMPING POSSIBLE! RVs only! Vehicles that are not fully self-contained will be turned away. A self-contained vehicle contains permanent working plumbing fixtures, flushable toilets, and a sealed effluent holding tank.
The maximum consecutive stay is 7 days. When the maximum consecutive stay has occurred, the person(s), equipment, and/or vehicles(s) must vacate the campground for a period of 48 hours before returning for another stay.
- Reservations can be made year round.
- Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park.
- Park may be subject to construction during the reservation period.
- Park is subject to evacuation due to high tides and sliding cliffs.
- Dogs are allowed on the beach, however, must be kept on a six foot leash at all times.
- Maximum of 8 people may occupy each site.
- Occupancy by the same persons, equipment, or vehicles of the Santa Cruz District's camping facilities is limited to a total of 30 days in any calendar year. These facilities include: Sunset SB campground, Manresa SB campground, Seacliff SB campground, New Brighton SB campground, Henry Cowell Redwoods SP campground, Big Basin Redwoods SP campground, and Portola Redwoods SP campground.

Seacliff State Beach is located 78 miles south of San Francisco and 7 miles South of Santa Cruz on Highway 1. Take the Seacliff turn off from Highway One in the town of Aptos.
