San Clemente State Beach is popular with surfers on the north end of the one-mile beach. Other popular activities are skin diving for lobster and hiking along the trails on the bluffs. The beach has a landscaped blufftop with picnic areas. Trails lead down to the beach, which is popular for body surfing, swimming, and skin diving.

Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in.
- Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park.
- This is a site specific park. Site will be selected at the time the reservation is made.
- Tents ARE allowed on the hook-up sites in this park.
- To book a Group site you must have at least NINE occupants.
- Park is on reservations year round.

Southbound I-5; the park entrance is reached via the Avenida Calafia exit, near the south end of San Clemente.
Northbound I-5; exit Avenida Magdalena, turn right to stop light. Go right on Avenida Mendocino, over the freeway to next stop sign. Turn left on Avenida Del Presidente to Avenida Calafia.
