Located at an elevation of 4,900 feet. Popular activities include sailing and jet skiing. Restrooms and a boat ramp are provided. For local information call the Eldorado Information center at (530)644-6048. This campground has first come, first serve sites.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
2 night minimum on weekends.
A per day per vehicle fee will be collected at the campground beginning with the 3rd vehicle.
CAUTION: Bears and other wildlife frequent this area. All food must be kept in approved containers.
No ATV's or ORV's allowed. Vehicles park in developed areas only.
No refunds are given for bad weather.
Quiet hours 10pm - 6am.
A trailer or an RV plus a tow vehicle equals 2 vehicles.
This campground has first-come, first-served sites.

To reach this campground take Highway 50, east of Placerville.
Go 21 miles to Icehouse Road. Turn left on Icehouse Road. Go 21 miles north to Yellowjacket turnoff. Then go 1/2 mile to the campground entrance.
