Description

Campground is located in a coniferous forest with a reservoir nearby. Summer days are warm to hot, evenings are cool. Restrooms and drinking water are provided. All roads and parking areas are paved. Sites are reservable from mid-May through early September. Some sites are available on a first come, first serve basis.

This campground is near Foresthill on French Meadows Reservoir. It is not on Lake Tahoe, but is 3 hours away. Is this the campground you're requesting?
Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
No refunds are given for bad weather.
A per day per vehicle fee will be collected at the campground for extra vehicles beginning with the 3rd vehicle.
This campground has first come, first serve sites.

NOTE: Water in very short supply. Bring your own water for all campground uses.

Take Highway 80 to the Foresthill Road, travel 17 miles east to Foresthill. Turn right on Mosquito Ridge Road and travel 34 miles east to the French Meadow Reservoir, the French Meadows Campground is on the south shore.
