French Gulch Group Campground is located 3 miles from Lake Isabella. This group campground will accomodate groups up to 100 and up to 30 vehicles. Activities include swimming, water skiiing, wind surfing; trout and bass fishing.

The Giant Sequoia Mercantile - the southern gateway to the Giant Sequoia National Monument located at 13247 Sierra Way, Kernville, CA will offer a wide variety of books, maps and gifts. The Giant Sequoia Mercantile will also be offering a variety of camping equipment and supplies making it the perfect place to stop for those last minute items you may have left at home.

Visit our second Giant Sequoia Mercantile located on Highway 190 on the way to Giant Sequoia Monument.

From Bakersfield take Highway 178 East, to the town of Lake Isabella. In Lake Isabella take highway 155 North following the western edge of the lake approximately 3 miles.
