Description
Fairview Campground is located on the Upper Kern River 13 miles north of the town of Kernville. This mountain setting campground with oak trees and desert shrubbery stretches along the Kern River. The campground consists of 52 paved sites with some water sites along the Kern River. Swimming, rafting, hiking, fishing are some of the activities to have a fun filled time. Located next to the campground are McNallys Hamburger Stand and McNallys Restraunt.

Giant Sequoia Mercantile Opening July 4th!
The Giant Sequoia Mercantile - the southern gateway to the Giant Sequoia National Monument located at 13247 Sierra Way, Kernville, CA will offer a wide variety of books, maps and gifts. The Giant Sequoia Mercantile will also be offering a variety of camping equipment and supplies making it the perfect place to stop for those last minute items you may have left at home.

Reservations must be made 3 day in advance
3 night minimum on holiday weekends
Additional $2.00 per day fee for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends.
This is a site specific campground and no changing sites permitted
No hook-ups
No Showers
The camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and one legally towed vehicle
A $5.00 fee per day for extra vehicle will be collected at the campground
6 people per site only
Vehicles park in parking spurs only
All equipment must fit on pad
Quite hours are 10pm to 6am and strictly enforced
Firewood must fit inside fire ring
Pets must be on a leash at all times
No discharging of fire arms or fireworks in the campground
No chainsaw use in campgrounds
No ATV or ORV allowed in campground

Off of Highway 99 in Bakersfield, take Highway 178 East, to Lake Isabella From Lake Isabella take Highway 155 around the west side of the lake to the town of Kernville. From Kernville go north on Sierra Way (Mountain 99) 16 miles to the campground.
