Description
Dinkey Creek Recreation area is located in the Sierra National Forest. Dinkey is approximately 16 miles outside of Shaver lake.
This campground was remodeled in 2007. It has new bathrooms and paved pads. Dinkey Creek is located in a high country setting with trees, streams, and open space. The staff resides on site. Campers must register at the campground office. If office is closed, continue to site and register the following morning.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance.
3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends.
Campers must register at the campground office. If office is closed, continue to site and register the following morning.
Camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle.
A fee of $5.00 for additional vehicles will be collected at the campground.
No all-terrain or off-highway vehicles allowed in the campground.
We have no first come / first serve sites.

From Clovis, California, travel east on Highway 168 to Shaver Lake. Turn southeast on Dinkey Creek Road, travel 13 miles to the campground.
