Description
Cottonwood Creek Campground is located on Highway 89 4 miles south of Sierraville. This campground sits along the Cottonwood Creek in a forest setting. This single family campground has 48 sites with paved roads and paved back in sites. This location makes a great "base camp" for activities like: fishing, hunting, hiking, and bike riding.

Jackson Meadow Recreation Area Camp Store Is Now Open!
Located on the west side of the reservoir near the Woodcamp Recreation Sites. The Camp Store offers a variety of camping and fishing equipment and supplies; including Ice, Snack, Groceries and Gift items - making it the perfect place to come for those forgotten and needed items.

Alerts and Important Information
This is the Cottonwood creek campground in the Tahoe National Forest.
Reservations must be made 3 day in advance
3 night minimum on holiday weekends
Additional $2.00 per day fee for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends.
The camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and one legally towed vehicle
A $5.00 fee per day for extra vehicle will be collected at the campground
Pets must be leashed at all times - 6 foot maximum
6 people per site only
Vehicles park in parking spurs only
All equipment must fit on pad
Quite hours are 10pm to 6am and strictly enforced
Fire restrictions may apply
Bears frequent the area. All food must be kept in approved containers
No useage of firearms, chainsaws or fireworks in the campground
No ATV/OHV in campground
