Located on the road into Minersville campground, a short distance from Trinity Lake and a boat ramp. This campground has many large trees, and large campsites.

This campground has electric and water hookups in most sites. Site 2 actually includes 4 spurs (though only 2 electrical hookups) and is ideal for a small group, with a group eating area and fire pit.

Alerts and Important Information

*Reservations must be made at least 7 day in advance.* 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays.

CAUTION: Bears frequent the area. All food must be kept in approve containers. 2 pay showers are available on campground. Sites will be available for first-come first-serve if not reserved.
There is no septic tank or dump station at Bushytail campround. This campground has electric and water hookups in some sites. From Interstate 5 take 299 west to Weaverville. Then take State Highway 3, north 16 miles. Turn right at Minersville/Bushytail then left into campground.
