Camping Reservations

Description

Located 50 miles east of San Diego at the Laguna Mountain Recreation Area. Elevation is 6,000 feet. There is access to the Pacific Crest Trail. This heavily wooded campground has been refurbished with new restrooms and coin-operated showers. All roads and parking spaces have been widened andlengthened and paved. Each site has a table and fire ring. Site capacities are 8 people and 2 vehicles. Tents are allowed in all sites. Please select your site carefully - no site changes will be made at the campground. Very nice, clean campground. For additional info call on-site staff during the open season @619-473-0120 or the Forest Service during the winter @619-445-6235. Fires are allowed in fire rings only. Firewood must fit completely inside the ring. Wooden pallets are not allowed.
A fee of $2 per pet per day beginning with the second pet will be collected at the campground. (The first pet is free).
Showers are open and operational from mid-May through early October only due to local temperatures.

Alerts and Important Information

This is Burnt Rancheria in the Cleveland Nat'l Forest east of San Diego. It is not Rancheria near Clovis in the Sierra Nat'l Forest.

This campground has first-come, first-served sites.
Fires are once again allowed in designated fire pits only.
Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays.
Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am.
Maximum 2 vehicles per site.
No more than 8 people allowed per site.
An extra vehicle fee will be collected on site beginning with the 3rd vehicle.
No refunds are given for BAD WEATHER.
Pets must be leashed.
No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
The water for the showers will not be on until the Peak season.

Located 50 miles east of San Diego, California. From I-8 take Sunrise Exit. Go approximately 11 miles to Milepost 23. Stop at entrance for campground information and site location.
