Description
Located at an elevation of 4,700 feet, Peppersauce is approximately 8 miles southeast of Oracle, AZ along the Control Road up Mt. Lemmon's north slope. This campground is nestled within an Arizona sycamore grove in Peppersauce Canyon, alongside Peppersauce Creek, normally dry, with exceptions of periods of heavy rain or in monsoon season. Facilities include one 2-hole vault restroom, seven (7) tables, a group barbecue grill, five (5) ground fire rings, three (3) lantern posts, three (3) benches and one parking lot that will hold up to ten (10) vehicles.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made at least (4) days in advance.
Host is present on-site.
Pets must be leashed.
No hook-ups.
Trailers are discouraged; sites are small and there are no pull-throughs.
Pack and saddle stock are not permitted in campground or picnic area.
Build fires only in fire rings, stoves, grills, or fireplaces provided for that purpose.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING FIRES UNDER CONTROL. Be sure your fire is completely extinguished before leaving.
Please bring your own firewood; firewood is not provided.
Quiet time between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Use of fireworks or other explosives is prohibited on National Forest lands.
Discharging of firearms in a Developed Recreation area is prohibited.
The federal government is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.
Speed limit inside Peppersauce Campground is 5 M.P.H. Outside the Peppersauce Campground on FR 38 is 35 M.P.H.
No OHV riding in the campground and group use area at all times.
This is Black Bear country. To avoid putting a bear's life in danger and risking the loss of some of your own property as well, please dispose of all garbage in the bear-resistant containers provided. Also, remember to keep all food out of reach and out of sight of these curious animals.
You must occupy your site within 24 hours or forfeit.

From Tucson, drive north on Oracle Road (US 89). Continue for 27 miles to State Highway 77. Turn right (east) and drive 10 miles to the town of Oracle. Take the first Oracle exit and travel 4 miles through town to Forest Road 38. Follow FR 38 to Peppersauce Canyon.
