Description

Because we have more than one cabin with a similar name, I would like to clarify that this IS the Juneau Lake Cabin located on the Resurrection Pass Trail in Cooper Landing. This cabin is NOT near Juneau, Alaska. Winter travelers need to be able to evaluate avalanche and ice conditions.
Open to over-snow motorized vehicles from December 1 to April 30 every other winter season beginning with the winter of 2007/2008. Closed to motorized vehicles every other winter season beginning with the 2008/2009 winter season.
Closed to horse/pack stock from 4/1 to 6/30. No commercial use allowed. 3 consecutive days maximum per person from 5/15 through 8/31. The person holding the reservation must be 18. Treat or boil water before consumption. Maximum group size allowed is 8. Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, a stove for heat, a boat, and an outhouse. It sleeps 4 comfortably. Mattresses and cooking utensils are not provided. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food. Access by trail or floatplane. Trail access by Resurrection Pass South Trailhead, Milepost 52, Sterling Highway. Hike 9.5 miles to the cabin. Access by Resurrection Pass North Trailhead, Milepost 4, Resurrection Creek Road. Hike 29.3 miles to the cabin.
