HOOK POINT CABIN

Description

Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, wood and oil stove for heat, and an outside toilet. It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food.

Bring #1 oil for stove to heat the cabin or can use wood (not provided).

25 air miles Southwest of Cordova. 1.5 miles West of Hook Point on the Gulf of Alaska side of Hinchinbrook Island. Access by wheel plane at low tide only (15 minutes from Cordova). Landing area is 1/2 mile from cabin.
