Winter travelers need to be able to evaluate avalanche and ice conditions.
Reservations can be made the day of arrival, or up to 180 days in advance.
Open to over-snow motorized vehicles from December 1 to April 30 every other winter season beginning with the winter of 2007/2008. Closed to motorized vehicles every other winter season beginning with the 2008/2009 winter season.
Closed to horse/pack stock from 4/1 to 6/30.
The person holding the reservation must be at least 18 years of age. No commercial use allowed. 3 consecutive days maximum per person from 5/15 through 8/31. Maximum group size allowed is 8. For trail conditions call 907-224-3374. Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, a stove for heat, and an outhouse. It sleeps 4 comfortably. It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food.
