Winter travelers need to be able to evaluate avalanche and over-ice travel conditions.
Open to over-snow motorized vehicles from December 1 to April 30 every other winter season beginning with the winter of 2007/2008. Closed to motorized vehicles every other winter season beginning with the 2008/2009 winter season.
Closed to horse/pack stock from 4/1 to 6/30.
Three consecutive days maximum per person from 5/15 to 8/31. No commercial use. The person holding the reservation must be 18. Maximum group size allowed is 8. Treat or boil water before consumption. Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, a woodstove for heat, and an outhouse. It sleeps 4 comfortably. It has no mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring sleeping bags and pads, cookstove, cooking gear, and food.
