Description
This saltwater cabin is located on the western shore of Church Bight, which is a small cove inside Gambier Bay. It is on the southeastern edge of Admiralty Island, just off Stephens Passage. The cabin is in a primitive setting with no electricity, plumbing, or phone. An A-frame cabin with a loft, it can sleep up to seven people. The cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, is heated with a woodstove and has an outside toilet. Fire wood is provided in a wood shed at the salt water beach. It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food. The person holding the reservation for this cabin must be 18, and must be a member of the party using the cabin. Use of this cabin by a commercial operator such as an outfitter or guide, is NOT allowed. Visitors are asked to carry out all that they bring in. There are NO discounts for Golden Age or Golden Passports for Alaska cabin rentals. Access by floatplane or boat. This cabin is in a designated Wilderness area and access by helicopter is illegal. Reservations are restricted to a maximum stay of 7 consecutive nights per party for any one reservation May 1 - September 30 and a maximum stay of 10 consecutive nights per party October 1 - April 30.
