Description

Winter travelers need to be able to evaluate avalanche and over-ice travel conditions. For more current travel conditions call the Seward Ranger District at (907)224-3374. Winter and summer motorized access is prohibited. Closed to horse/pack stock from 4/1 to 6/30. Three consecutive days maximum per person from 5/15 to 8/31. No commercial use. The person holding the reservation must be 18. Maximum group size allowed is 8. Treat or boil water before consumption. Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, heating stove, and an outside toilet. It sleeps 4 comfortably, maximum of 8. It has no mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring sleeping bags and pads, cookstove, cooking gear, and food. There is no potable water, electricity, or cut firewood provided.
